Now that you’ve assessed just what’s going on in your home and stocked up on all necessary supplies to make entertaining a breeze, it’s time for step two: Make the seasonal switch. In other words, get ready for a little spring cleaning in the fall.
{Checklist Two: Make the Seasonal Switch}
- Pull out everything in your kitchen cabinets
- Wipe down cabinets (inside and out)
- Wash items that look a little dusty or grimy
- Clean out the fridge and freezer and wipe down shelves
- Go through your pantry and toss any expired items
- Remove items, clean, and purge under the sink
- Schedule time for a deep cleaning of your entire home
- Rotate seasonal entertaining items
- Rotate seasonal cookbooks
- Wash and dry clean linens
- Polish silver
- Clean your oven
- Wipe down glass to remove watermarks and dust
