organized

Now that you’ve assessed just what’s going on in your home and stocked up on all necessary supplies to make entertaining a breeze, it’s time for step two: Make the seasonal switch. In other words, get ready for a little spring cleaning in the fall.

{Checklist Two: Make the Seasonal Switch}

  1. Pull out everything in your kitchen cabinets
  2. Wipe down cabinets (inside and out)
  3. Wash items that look a little dusty or grimy
  4. Clean out the fridge and freezer and wipe down shelves
  5. Go through your pantry and toss any expired items
  6. Remove items, clean, and purge under the sink
  7. Schedule time for a deep cleaning of your entire home
  8. Rotate seasonal entertaining items
  9. Rotate seasonal cookbooks
  10. Wash and dry clean linens
  11. Polish silver
  12. Clean your oven
  13. Wipe down glass to remove watermarks and dust

Don’t miss next week when I share tips for decluttering your home (my area of expertise, for sure).
